Our Building

This is a view of the front of our building. Our apartment is the one with the colorful bay windows and makes up the entire second floor. We live on a quiet, leafy street in an area of west Harlem called Hamilton Heights between Broadway and Riverside drive. As you will see from the map below, we are about two blocks from the subway and just steps from Riverbank park.

The Front Room

This is a the view out the front bay windows that you have when you come in. There is also a small bookcase and a leather couch against the wall to the left of the windows.



To the right of our windows we have a fireplace, some nice exposed brick, hardwood floors, and an eat-in kitchen. Pardon the clutter and books, we haven't been in long and haven't had a chance to put our wall shelves up.

The Bedroom

We have a queen size bed and a window that looks out at the building and to some trees in our back yard (no trees in the pic but, trust me, they're there). ;)



This is another view that shows the exposed brick and the second fireplace in our bedroom. Again, things are a little clutter-y as we figure out where to put stuff.

The Kitchen

We have a washer and dryer, a cool brick floor in the kitchen, and lots of cupboard space.
